David Dominguez, M.D.

After graduating from Melbourne Central Catholic High School, he attended University of Florida where he walked on to the UF Football team, graduating with honors. Thereafter, he attended Duke University School of Medicine where he participated in research, which went on to publication in the prestigious Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery. He completed his orthopaedic residency training at Texas A&M University. After a brief period of serving our community as an orthopaedic trauma doctor at Holmes Regional, Dr. Dominguez decided to pursue his passion for Sports Medicine. He completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship at the world-renowned Sports Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Medicine Associates (SOAR) where he served as a team physician for several Division 1 universities and professional teams. His noted mentors included the official team physicians for the San Francisco Giants who previously held the distinction of being the official team doctors of the San Francisco 49ers for 25 years. Dr. Dominguez takes the time to explain all procedures in detail and to answer all questions, before moving for forward with treatment. We create relationships with our patients because we invest the time, attention and compassion that they deserve. Dr. Dominguez uses the latest technology to diagnose and treat injuries in the least invasive manner possible, getting back in the game and back to your life as quickly and painlessly as possible.
